There’s a brand new TV programme on the Yesterday TV channel (UK) called Scouting for Toys. The 10-part series is set behind the scenes at internationally renowned Vectis Toys Auctioneers in Teesside, where buyers and sellers from all over the world come to trade every toy imaginable.
You can see the programmes live on Thursdays at 9pm on the Yesterday channel (Sky, Virgin, Freeview and more) or via the UKTV app for repeats.
It’s an amazing and entertaining production with amazing characters from both Vectis and the Buyers and Sellers and features great toys as well as a cameo from Yours Truly in the Gerry Anderson programme.

The shows production is nothing to do with me! But I agree it’s great show. I’m only appearing in one of the episodes. Only two of the show listings have been released to date, the first was Star Wars and the second is mainly Matchbox.
