On sale at Vectis Auctions in the UK is an interesting large scale model of the Dinky 351 Interceptor
The Listing states: Gerry Anderson’s “UFO” Shado Interceptor large Wooden Made Model (believed to be from the Dinky Toys Factory cannot confirm) As A Large Pre-Production Working Model – Finished in green with blue window, orange legs, Complete with detachable White and orange missile See-Photo (Approx 65cm in length with missile) A Very Impressive model, accompanied with Dinky Toys Model in Picture in frame (2)
There is no declared provenance to the model so as usual ‘caveat emptor’ applies. But it would be a very nice addition to a collection of the price is right.
